Happy to report that I made it back home to Kentucky for my birthday weekend! My birthday is on 9/11 but we're celebrating early.
Yesterday, Tobes turned into a Hinotamatchi while I was at work. I expected a different character because I took perfect care of him (even though I do like Hinotamatchi). I had planned on going for a perfect care adult, but unfortunately, I got caught up in something at work and had to leave him for a bit which caused him to lose two hearts in both Happy and Hungry! My perfect care streak was broken again when I accidentally let him go to sleep with a poop beside his bed while we were making the trip home. Don't Tamagotchi and drive, kids. :P It'll be interesting to see what he turns out as. I've been pretty diligent on catching the training opportunities, so I expect him to have a full training bar before he turns into an adult in somewhere around two days. He'll probably have to be on pause at some point today as I have a wedding to go to! Since I'm home, I've been able to take some updated collection photos, so I will get to posting those on the main blog ASAP! I'm thinking about taking a V4.5 with me back to Tennessee when we leave because I just love that version so much. There's a lot to do, but it's not overly complex. Plus, I love the designs! I was also able to get my hands on the P2 that I ordered and it is gorgeous! It's not mint in box, but it's in fantastic condition and the buttons feel very responsive which is an issue I've had with ancestor tamas in the past. Sometimes, their buttons are shallow and hard to push but luckily that's not the case with my new P2. Maybe I'll run it and go for my Mimitchi soon. :) I'll leave you with a picture of Tobes for now. It's so nice to be back in the mountains. - *mimitchi*

The more you get to know me, you'll eventually realize The Who is my favorite band and that I'll sneak in Who references any chance I get. No, really. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere. I'll see myself out now.
So anyway, just a second ago, I had started to write this and had about three paragraphs of content that just disappeared into oblivion when my computer cord decided to unplug itself and shut my computer off. Fantastic. So to summarize pretty much everything I had said before I lost it all - I went back home to Kentucky and brought back to Tennessee with me my TMGC+C and one of my favorite V2s - blue with pink bubbles! I chose the V2 because it's as simple as the V1 but with more perks and the addition of some of my favorite characters like Pyonchitchi, Takotchi, and Pochitchi! Evidently, Pochitchi can play a Jaw Harp and that's something I can get down with. Once I got back to Tennessee and started up my V2, I found a Toratchi named Alfie who already had a baby girl! My goal this time is to see how high of a generation I can get while also trying to get a different character every single time. In the time that I started up my V2, Alfie's daughter who I named Bowie grew up to be a Kusatchi. She left me last night with a boy who I named Tobes. Tobes is named after Tobias Forge of the band Ghost because I am complete band garbage. Another thing you'll eventually learn about me is that I unhealthily obsess over Classic Rock and Metal bands. So sue me. He is a currently a Marutchi and is asleep at the moment because 9:02pm is past his bedtime. At the ripe old age of 24, it's past mine, too, but tonight I'm getting #wild and staying up until 11pm. I'm more of a grandma than my OWN grandma. Since it's late and I completely lost ALL motivation after my computer died and erased my three paragraph long post, I think I'll end it here. I am making a trip back to Kentucky this weekend, so expect to see some updated collection photos and new collection posts! In the meantime, here's a picture I took of my Tobes on my lunch break today. Just bein' a ball. - *mimitchi* ♥ |
